Go Mate

Yiyou - Accompanying you to finish a serious game of Go. Sometimes, it’s not about lacking an opponent, but about lacking a friend who won’t disturb you but can remind you at crucial moments. Yiyou is a Go AI application centered around “companionship”. It will silently accompany you in the game by default, and switch to a coach role when you need it, providing you with just the right advice.

Be a quiet sparring partner, rather than commanding you to enter sparring mode by default. Do not forcefully prompt or interrupt your thoughts. Be like a chess friend with a similar skill level, willing to accompany you through the entire game. You concentrate on playing chess, while your sparring partner carefully calculates beside you.

Coach mode, always on call. When you’re stuck or want to confirm a judgment: one-click to activate coach mode. Before making a move, it will mark 2-3 feasible directions. In case of obvious mistakes, it will gently remind you and provide reference moves. It won’t play for you, but will help you see through your choices. You decide, while your fellow players are responsible for analysis.

Real-time win rate comparison based on visible situation changes, sensing the impact of each move, requesting situation judgment at any time, estimating the difference in vision and territory ownership without relying on feelings, and the situation changes are clear at a glance

Reviewing games is more important than playing more. Games are automatically saved, and playback of each move is supported. AI marks key moves: good moves: significantly increase the winning rate; questionable moves: sharply decrease the winning rate. Let every game leave some traces.

Game records and growth statistics are saved locally, including all game histories. View win rates by rank, assess recent performance trends, and determine whether it’s time to move up a level. Challenges don’t push you to progress, but they help you see your progress.

The technology and rules only support the 19×19 standard chessboard. The Chinese Go rules are based on CoreML + deep learning model + Neural MCTS, covering the strength range from 30 kyu to super professional 9 dan. Who is it suitable for? Those who want to play Go seriously but don’t want to be disturbed by AI, those who want to improve but don’t want to be taught every move, and those who regard Go as a long-term hobby

Yi You is not a teacher, nor a referee. Just a friend who is willing to accompany you to understand chess.
